Ceres, CA - Last Thursday, our Northern Cal branch hosted their 3rd Annual Take Our Daughters And Sons To Work Day. The children participated in interactive learning activities, which focused on developing them towards a future where they can participate fully in work, family, and their community. The day was designed to be more than a typical career day and go beyond the average “shadow” an adult work day. They focused on exposing our ‘Pacific Mobile Junior Crew’ to what their Pacific Mobile parent/mentor truly does during the work day, how we live our values daily, and exactly how fun and safe the modular industry can be. The attached video showcases how this annual event is always so much fun, not only for the kids, but for the employees too!
Pacific Mobile Structures has always taken an active role in supporting the communities—our communities—where we do business. As part of this effort, we are proud to host our 8th annual charity golf tournament. Friday, August 18th we will be hosting the golf tournament benefitting the PAC. Your support over the years has allowed us to keep rental and program fees as affordable as possible. We invite you to join us for your chance to win great prizes and support the development of youth in our community.

LEEDing the Way in the Green Building Industry
Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, better known as its acronym LEED, impacts how construction industry leaders plan a building or community throughout all phases of development. The US Green Building Council (USGBC) says LEED “is changing the way we think about how buildings and communities are planned, constructed, maintained and operated.” Almost two million square feet of buildings earn green certification through LEED each day, making it the most used third-party verification of green buildings worldwide.
The green trend is here and according to the USGBC it is here to stay. “Green construction is quickly outpacing conventional construction in the U.S.,” says Rick Fedrizzi CEO and founding chair of USGBC.
